HOUSTON, TX (July 30, 2020): Webber Marketing and Consulting, LLC., creators of the Cracker Barrel National Battle of the Bands (NBOTB) which is co-hosted in partnership with Harris County-Houston Sports Authority, secures a three-year partnership with The AEA Education Foundation, Inc (AEA). AEA will serve as a presenting sponsor of the NBOTB and support its commitment to providing scholarships for HBCUs.
“Scholarships and education are at the core of the National Battle of the Bands’ mission,” says Derek Webber, CEO of Webber Marketing and Consulting, LLC. “HBCUs are critical pillars of impact, influence and opportunities when it comes to educating and developing future leaders, so we are excited to partner with The AEA Education Foundation to aid us in raising scholarship funds for our HBCUs during these unprecedented times.”
The NBOTB recently launched their HBCUs Band Together scholarship initiative designed to bring together those who love and seek to support HBCUs, HBCU marching bands and their band members during the COVID-19 crisis.

Allen, Sr., Founder of The AEA Education Foundation Inc. “Understanding the impact and exposure this event provides the participating students and institutions, we are proud to support HBCU Band Together scholarship initiative.”
The AEA Education Foundation’s goal is to expand HBCUs by making college education more affordable, upgrade facilities and improve the communities HBCUs call home.
